According to Dr. Naheed Ali, running a fan in the room all night can cause the body to experience discomfort.
As summer arrives, experts in the UK have warned residents about the potential risks of running a fan all night.
Dr. Naheed Ali, a PhD health expert, says that keeping the fan on all night can put the body under hidden stress.
She explained that leaving the fan on all night can dry out the sinuses and throat, which may lead to a tight chest feeling upon waking up.
Additionally, an overnight fan can cause muscle stiffness and chest congestion, which may trigger sneezing fits in people with asthma or allergies.
Dr. Naheed also pointed out that dry airways can thicken mucus, trapping allergens near sensitive tissues. Over time, this condition can lead to coughing, voice problems, or blocked sinuses.
