Apple Arcade is set to expand its catalog next month with the addition of five exciting new titles, headlined by the highly anticipated “What the Clash” from renowned developer Halfbrick Studios.
Launching on May 8, “What the Clash” brings strategic tower defense gameplay to Apple Arcade subscribers. Players will build and customize their defenses while facing increasingly challenging waves of opponents in both single-player campaigns and competitive multiplayer modes.
“We’re thrilled to bring ‘What the Clash’ exclusively to Apple Arcade,” said Shainiel Deo, CEO of Halfbrick Studios. “Our team has created an accessible yet deeply strategic experience that we believe will resonate with Apple Arcade subscribers of all skill levels.”
In addition to “What the Clash,” Apple Arcade will welcome four other titles throughout May:
- “Sonic Racing Evolution” (SEGA) – An enhanced racing experience featuring characters from the beloved Sonic universe with new tracks, power-ups, and multiplayer options.
- “Lego Builder’s Journey: Extended Edition” (Light Brick Studio) – This award-winning puzzle adventure returns with additional levels and enhanced visuals optimized for Apple devices.
- “Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon” (Cornfox & Brothers) – A roguelite dungeon crawler set in the acclaimed Oceanhorn universe, designed for short play sessions and featuring local multiplayer for up to four players.
- “Ultimate Rivals: The Court” (Bit Fry Game Studios) – The sequel to “Ultimate Rivals: The Rink” brings arcade-style 3v3 basketball action with a roster of athletes from across professional sports.
All five titles will be available to Apple Arcade subscribers at no additional cost, playable across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV. The games will join Apple Arcade’s growing library of over 200 premium games without ads or in-app purchases.
Apple Arcade is available for $4.99 per month with a one-month free trial for new subscribers. Apple Arcade is also included as part of Apple One subscription bundles.
